The QX100, priced at $500, is the more expensive of the pair. It comes equipped with a high-quality 1-inch 20.2-megapixel Exmor RCMOS sensor, a Carl Zeiss lens capable of 3.6x optical zoom, a BIONZ image processor, and a control ring for physically adjusting focus and zoom. The QX10 comes in at $250, and is equipped with an 18.2-megapixel sensor, a Sony G Lens capable of 10x optical zoom, and built-in Optical SteadyShot for quick focusing. It weighs just 4 ounces and comes in black or white.

Both models connect to Android and iOS devices via built-in WiFi and a Bluetooth connection established through NFC, working remotely from a close distance or physically attaching to your smartphone thanks to a spring-powered bracket. Sony will also release accessories for the QX100 and QX10 as well, including a dedicated tripod and a specialized case for the flagship Xperia Z handset.
