Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everyone finds chocolate so tempting, Android decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favourite chocolate treats, the KitKat®!

Time To Charge Mobile with Water

19797176.cms
Researchers in Sweden finally came out with a new technique that now you can charge your devices without electricity if there is a water source nearby.
Just you have to do is add a spoonful and get instant power, anytime and anywhere.

Its a very good news for them who dont get time to spend on electricity.
Developed by a team in Sweden’s KTH Royal Institute Of Technology and made by MyFC, it is the world’s first water-activated charging device that powers using fresh or salt water.
Solar charging can be affected by the weather and the position of the sun, of course, and not hugely helpful if your urgent power shortage hits at night. Water charging isn’t hindered by these external factors. Even in a desert, a spoonful of water from your thermos can give you power.

A city-based scientist has come up with a concept of a ” solar summer shirt” in Kolkata which will come with inbuilt solar cells. Wearable during summer days to be cool and stay cool.
The shirt could produce around 400 watts of energy with the help of solar cells whose size will vary from 2.5 inches to 3 inches.
The shirt would store enough power to charge cellphones, tablets or other digital devices.
Explaining the concept, the scientist said the shirt will have two layers, one of which will have two to four small “fans” which will work on solar energy. The size of these miniature fans will be smaller than those found inside a computer.
